Soon after we placed in the final shortlist for the best new blog of 2011, we just found out that the Institute of Customer Service has made us a finalist in the UK customer satisfaction awards for the best use of social media and communication.
It’s great news to find that our approach to social media is being recognised by such a body, though of course we won’t know if we have won the category until March next year.
In the meantime though, I’m excited to say that we are planning to repeat our recent highly successful event on the way that social media is changing customer service. We hosted this to a packed house in London last October and we are now going to take the event to Edinburgh on January 18th.
It will be at the incredible Edinburgh castle and will feature our team, the well-known technology blogger Mark Hillary, and several case studies – including the o2 customer service team and PA Consulting.
